Participants in this 2007 AI conference workshop learned how to apply the AI principles to individual situations and relationships. A new and validated 3-step model was presented for applying AI personally in a simple, straightforward way, and participants had an opportunity to explore using this model with a personal relationship situation. Many engaging stories and real-world examples were provide along with PowerPoint slides to assist in learning and applying the principles. Complementary ideas were also drawn from Positive Psychology and living systems theory. A recent joy study was also be presented which showed how 30 people from across the US got significantly happier in 28 days by doing three simple Appreciative Inquiry based exercises.
The attached PDF contains the PowerPoint slides which provide a summary of the concepts presented, along with an overview of the 3-step model and a summary chart of how to use it. The written instructions for the exercises participants did are also included in the slides.
