Donella Meadows was a very renown Systems Thinker who wrote some influent books on the field. One of those is “Thinking in Systems” (a very bright introduction to the field).

There’s a video of her speaking about Vision and how it’s been forgotten when people jump to action without building a vision first. She explains how her building an internal vision allowed her to see things already happening that she didn’t noticed before.

I found that it very well relate to Appreciative Inquiry and also found it intriguing that Vision (we’d say Dream) coming *before* Discovery nourished it and not the other way round.

This TED talk by Brene Brown might appeal. (I really like it and I wish she went more into how each of us could become “wholehearted” and “courageous” – of course there is an answer in the processes of AI and my sense is she doesn’t
