Cheri Torres, Ph.D., is a Lead Catalyst, Speaker and Author. She works with organizations and communities to catalyze strong team, productivity, and goal achievement. She blends together Appreciative Inquiry and other strength-based conversation practices, grounding her work in the current research in positive psychology and neuroscience. She partners with communities and organizations for whole systems change, culture transformation, and strategic planning. Working with her, leaders enhance their ability fuel productivity, intentionally create culture, and engage stakeholders in strategic conversations. She’s authored or co-authored numerous books and articles. Her most recent book is a Berrett-Koehler bestseller: Conversations Worth Having: Using Appreciative Inquiry to Fuel Productive and Meaningful Engagement, BK Publishers, May 2018.
Education and Professional Experience:
Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with specialization in Collaborative Learning, Masters in Transpersonal Psychology, MBA, Appreciative Inquiry certification from Case Western Reserve University, Level 2 certification in the Berrett Centre Cultural Values, Level 2 Spiral Dynamics certification, Taos Institute Associate.
