Education and Professional Experience:
Jost is the founder and managing director of the The Change Initiative, an organization located in Bangkok specialized in providing facilitation services and trainings especially to government institutions and the not-for-profit sector. In the last years he designed and facilitated meetings all over Asia and beyond in order help organizations or larger multi-stakeholder groups to speed up the decision-making process, meet and beat their event objective, create dialogue and collaborative action and achieve group commitment without sacrificing the quality of the solution. He facilitates in English and German, but also has a good command of Spanish, French, Dutch and Thai. Before becoming a full-time facilitator he worked for the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in India, the German Embassy in Thailand and a number of private companies. He studied sociology and economics in Trier (Germany) and Zaragoza (Spain). In 2007 he became a Certified Professional Facilitator by the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) – the most recognized certification for his profession. He is also the coordinator of the Facilitator Forum Thailand and since the beginning of 2008 the Country Representative of the IAF. He recently published a longer article on AI in Thai language as part of the publication: Handbook on dialogue and collaborative action (in Thai language), written by Jost Wagner and published by the Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung, a German political foundation.
Areas of Interest:
