Education and Professional Experience:
Tony Silbert, a partner in Innovation Partners International, has over 20 years of experience in organizational development, change leadership consulting, training design and delivery. Previously Tony worked with Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, EDS, and spent 10 years at John Snow, Inc. in the international development arena, working in over 50 countries.
Tony’s areas of expertise include strengths-based and participatory approaches to strategic planning and implementation, innovation, large-scale change, organization design, and collaboration. He works with private and public sector organizations in a variety of industries, both domestically and abroad, including corporate, healthcare, non-profit, government, international development, IT, finance, and telecommunications.
He earned his Master of Science degree in organization development from American University/NTL Institute. He is a co-owner of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting, Dean and faculty at National Training Laboratories (www.NTL.org), partner and board member of Social Venture Partners of RI (www.svpri.org), and a Taos Associate (www.taosinstitute.net). Tony was the keynote speaker at the Treasury Board of Canada’s Classification symposium (2003), the co-project director for the 2nd International Conference on AI (2004), and was selected as a “40 under 40” business leader in Rhode Island (2006). He has been a guest lecturer at George Washington University and has led numerous public and in-house training sessions on positive approaches to strategy, innovation, and change.
